I suppose some of the DU chapters may have had some Red Labels done after-factory, but in this case the value of the engraving would be subjective, I.M.O. Engraved by Ken Hurst on order of the Ruger factory. There were reportedly 300 returned to the factory for problems in engraving and the electroless plating. Supposedly 100 of these were given to various gun writers and other people close to the project and the other 900 were auctioned at the various Ducks Unlimited meetings around the United States. 1,000 produced (999 of the model RL-1208 and only 1 of the model RL-1206). The guns were cased in an Italian style leather trunk type case. It will make a one of a kind gun at your shooting club or all-weather hunting gun. It is in excellent used condition and has 26in barrels with Skeet and Skeet choke tubes. The receiver is also plated with electroless nickle. These highly engraved chrome-moly receiver shotguns have a motif of the 1984 Federal Duck Stamp design on the right side of the receiver and the 1934 Federal Duck Stamp design on the left side of the receiver.
